Our agency, Gladney, is simply amazing. Every two weeks, our caseworker sends us an update on Baby A. Monthly, we receive a developmental chart outlining the milestones that A is meeting. Currently, A is very into peek a boo! Also monthly, we receive a personality update on A, along with a new set of pictures.
One of those updates came on Thursday, and here is how the staff in Ethiopia describes A.
Baby A has grown so much since last month and is continuing to show signs of being social and outgoing! When I found her sunbathing outside this morning, she was sitting upright, quite alert to her surroundings. She was very interactive with the caregivers when they would say her name and talk to her – lots of smiles and a little laughter. She seemed happy to be outside and taking in all the new sights and sounds. It is so exciting to see her beauty and personality continue to emerge each week!
I know that I am biased, but Baby A is beautiful. She has huge, soulful eyes. Everyone who sees her pictures says, "Those eyes are incredible!!!!"
An extra bonus was that in this week's photo, Baby A was wearing the polka dotted outfit that we sent to her (thank you Buster family for delivering the package!) Her clothes look a little big on her, which tells us how tiny she is!
