Embassy Date

We received our Embassy Date today, and that date is December 9. Our paperwork didn't get finished in time for the Thanksgiving week date, so we will leave the week after Thanksgiving to bring Arri home! While we want Arri home as soon as possible, today's news was either going to be "good" or "better." With our case having been expedited, any Embassy date was going to be much earlier than we originally thought!

We will return to the US with Arri in tow on Saturday, December 11.

The shocking news was that we snagged the last two seats on the flight to Ethiopia on Dec. 4. The travel agent said that many of the flights are sold out for the whole month of December. Crazy! Who knew that many people fly from DC to Ethiopia?

The official countdown has begun!! Less than a month until we see Arri again!
