Baby A celebrated her 8 month birthday on Sunday.
Since Baby A was already on my mind, it was neat to have baptisms on Sunday. My favorite was the three year old who, upon being baptized, looked down at her pretty white dress, heartbroken. Holding back sniffles, she exclaimed, "You got my dress wet! Why you do that?"
Sunday's baptisms did get me thinking about baptism dates for Baby A. It also got me thinking about what she'll wear. I am not sure what Ethiopian children wear when they are baptized, but I am going to look into that, to see if we can honor the culture of her birth. Also, we don't know for sure that she hasn't already been baptized, but we think, given her age, that she has not.
Hopefully, Baby A will only have two more "month" birthdays before we bring her home!
