We are going to Ethiopia TOMORROW!!!

I am not kidding!!!
We got a call today that the laws in Ethiopia have changed, and adoptive parents and birth parents can now appear in court on the same day. That means we will not need to return on Nov. 26.....actually, that could be our return date.....to bring Baby A home!!! While going to court on Thursday does not guarantee that we will be able to bring her home earlier, it does make that a real possibility.  I can't even tell you the things that fell into place today. The call from Gladney came at 2:00; by 3:00, we had confirmation that there were seats available on the Tuesday am flight to Addis, and not only that, but the price is the same as what we are paying for tickets in November! A friend is able to house sit for us; the dogs are taken care of; both of our employers gave us the time off with no hesitation; Chris had done all of his parent/teacher conferences last week, so he doesn't have that to worry about; he will be back in time to do report cards next week (sorry, kids, no getting out of report cards!!); the hotel has availability; I just can't even tell you how amazing this is!!!

We will be holding Baby A on Wednesday afternoon, or Thursday morning!!!!

Please keep us in your prayers, for safe and on time travel, for a positive court ruling, and most of all, prayers of thanksgiving that we get to meet our daughter so soon!
